Dracula and Frankenstein descend on London this fall

Wilton’s Music Hall gave Mark Bruce’s dance production of Dracula  the perfect ambience.   I’m not sure if the artsdepot where it will be performed in November 2014 can possibly offer the same type of setting but the production is excellent and well worth catching if you can on November 25th and 26th..

This Hallowe’en, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein is brought to life by the electrifying impact of live rock music. Witness a faithful re-telling of the classic gothic novel, during a night at the opera like no other.   Richard Campbell’s intense and dramatic score recounts the tale of a man whose diabolical ambition leads him to a life of torment and guilt, and a creature made monster by abandonment and prejudice.

‘I ought to be thy Adam, but I am rather the fallen angel, whom thou drivest from joy for no misdeed.’
– Mary Shelley, Frankenstein
