Pride & Prejudice: December 15th and 16th at the Cockpit

It’s the season again for pantos and i know that many of my readers are trying to figure out which one to go to.  I can’t be too much help on this front since i’ve never seen one!  But this one might be a fun one to go to.

From the theatre:  By Jove theatre company’s uproarious take on a beloved English classic is back! Following a packed out run at the White Bear Theatre Club last year, the company bring Pride & Prejudice: The Panto to The Cockpit for three shows only in honour of the 200th anniversary of the book’s publication.

Jane Austen’s classic tale of passions, scandals and wet shirts leaps off the page into the absurd world of pantomime – a guaranteed evening of raucous entertainment and jolly good fun. Picked by LoveTheatre.com as one of the top pantomime’s of 2012 season, Pride & Prejudice: The Panto is sure to be a great night out for lovers of the book, the series, the films, or simply those looking for some pre-Christmas cheer!
