Jumpers For Goalposts April 5 – 20th at Watford Palace Theatre

The critically acclaimed Kitchen Sink which was staged at the Bush Theatre, was on my short list of great plays in 2012.  The Director, Tom Wells, and some of the cast of that play are behind Jumpers for Goalposts opening next week at the Watford Palace Theatre.  This world premiere will be co-produced with Paines Plough which was behind the excellent Love, Love, Love at the Royal Court.

From the Watford: “Luke wants Danny, but Danny’s got a secret. Joe’s happy in goal but Geoff wants a headline gig. Viv just wants to beat the lesbians to the league title. Game on.  A hilarious and heart-warming story about football, friendship and finding your way.”
