If one of your new year’s resolution, like mine, is to get out of London more on weekends, you might be inspired by the Days out Itineraries page on the National Trust Website. More specifically, you can use their (downloadable) costume drama movie map to visit some spectacular locations.
A couple mentioned here which I will add to my list:
The Ashridge Estate, Hertfordshire, appearing in Les Miserables
Ham House, in London, appearing in Anna Karenina, John Carter, and Young Victoria
Osterley Park and House, appearing in the Dark Knight Rises
Antony which appears in Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland
