Notting Hill Swing Patrol

Swing Patrol

I just walked by the Westbourne Grove Church and noticed a sign for  Swing Patrol Notting Hill  – weekly swing dance classes, for something new and different.  This probably requires more coordination than i can muster up, but i’m sure some of you might really enjoy it!

from their website : “A big hello from Erin and Luke. We run weekly swing dance classes at the Westbourne Grove Church.  Absolute Beginners swing class – £8 for the hour! These classes are for new dancers, no experience required – we’re always delighted to see first timers. We go over the basics every week and then throw in some new moves to get you swinging. We always teach drop-in classes so you don’t need to book and you don’t need to come with a partner.  Swing dance is a collection of dances from the 1920s, 30s and 40s including lindy hop and charleston. Swing dancing is a great way to meet new people, have fun, get some exercise and challenge yourself! No experience required – absolute beginners always welcome!”
