My husband likes to write down all of our new year’s resolutions on his jotter pad and he randomly peeks at this list to check on our accomplishments or (mostly) lack thereof in the course of the year. Rather than carrying the evidence around in ones pocket, I like the concept at the Transport museum of sending the resolutions off into thin air so that only you know whether or not you were true to yourself.
from the museum website:
“Kite making workshops through Tuesday 3 January 2012 Time: 12:00 – 15:00
Mark the coming of the London 2012 Games and show your team’s support by flying their colours and flags high in the sky on hand crafted kites. Design your own box or diamond kite from card and fabric. Families can tie their New Year’s resolutions onto the tail, set their goals and aim to keep them or complete them by the summer. Suitable for ages 5+”
