According to the Evening Standard:Rating: 5 out of 5

‘It’s always salutary to be reminded that the best plays can be about the smallest things. While so much drama focuses, rightly, on events of personal or political magnitude, Tom Wells takes as his deceptively small-scale focus four members of a largely happy family whose lives all require a gentle change of gear. The result is comic, poignant and utterly gripping”

 According to the Financial Times:

4 stars

“this is a promising, funny, touching play”

The Spring  Season at the Bush Theatre has also been announced including Our New Girl from  January 13th – February 11th

According to their website:

“Sometimes we have to take care of things we’re frightened of…You can’t know if you’re up to the job until that thing in front of you lives or dies. Behind the shiny door of Hazel Robinson’s perfect London home nothing is as it seems. Hazel’s plastic surgeon husband Richard has embarked on his latest charitable quest in Haiti, leaving the heavily-pregnant Hazel with a failing business and a problem son.  Hot on the heels of No Romance Nancy Harris’s hit play at the Abbey, Our New Girlis a startling psychological drama about the darker side of modern parenthood.”
