Brian Wilson at Royal Festival Hall – Sept 17th

Another blog entry that unfortunately dates me–but I do believe that Brian Wilson is a genius and the fact that he’s produced an album of Gershwin covers does not mean that he’s run out of new material.   I’ve listened to some of them (click on link below to listen on amazon site) and they are infused with Wilson’s imaginative arrangements.

From the Royal Festival Hall website:

Legendary songwriter, producer, arranger and co-founder of the Beach Boys, Brian Wilson returns to Royal Festival Hall following hugely celebrated concerts here in 2007 to perform in its entirety his latest critically-acclaimed album Brian Wilson Reimagines , as well as Brian Wilson and Beach Boys classics.
