The Cartoon Museum Half term activities

On 23rd February 2006 London's first cartoon museum opened to the public. Situated at 35 Little Russell Street, a stone's throw from The British Museum, The Cartoon Museum exhibits the very finest examples of British cartoons, caricature, and comic art from the 18th century to the present day.

The Cartoon Museum on Little Russell Street,  close to the British Museum, is one of those tiny hidden gems that one hopes to find  while walking around London.

On the second Saturday of every month from 10-4pm there are free drop-in cartooning activities for families and during half term excellent classes are held that children can sign up for in advance.  I’ve included the schedule for the upcoming half term below. My eight year old son took an amazing half-term cartoon animation workshop and proudly came home with funny DVD that he  had created in a day well spent.
